For my final project in my Modeling and Texturing class, I was tasked to create a spacecraft with a certain theme. I was originally going to go for buzz lightyear, but the more I looked at it, it started to looking more and more like the Joker from DC Comics. So I felt it was a lot more organic for me to go with the Joker theme over Buzz Lightyear. The Front is the Joker's face with the paint starting to come off.

On the right side, I wanted to use textures to accentuate the fact that this vehicle is aging. And it's rusting away. It was the 75th anniversary of the Joker at the time of me making this model. And well, 75 years later, I think that it'd start showing signs of age.

On the Left, I have the gas cap with the joker face. And the fin with the Joker's face on it (which you can see on the right side as well). The reason I have the joker face with the mask is because, on the show 'The Batman' which aired in 2003, there is an episode where the Joker disguises himself as the Batman to tarnish his name. I thought it was a cool visual so I decided to use it.

All over the ship, you'll see the Joker's signature "Ha! Ha! Ha!" . i wanted to make it look like it was airbrushed because I felt that's what the Joker would do if he did have his own spacecraft! As you can see the vehicle is having a bad reaction to the spray paint showing the care (or lack thereof) the joker shows for his possessions (Look at his treatment of Harley Quinn for reference).

The Joker's mark is usually a modified Joker playing card. It would make sense for the context of this model in my opiion. And of course the White and green since that's his face and hair color respectively.

The Joker definitely uses Guns and Knives, sure, but his most iconic weapon is his laughing gas. So he has a button for the deadly chemical. Also, in 'Batman the Animated Series", The joker has an eject button in one of his vehicles. So I of course had to add that element into his spacecraft.

This is the UV Color Map for the outside elements of the ship. A UV Map is basically a 2D Projection of a 3D model. It provides a top-down view of the model the designer wants to color, add texture and/or specularity for the model.

I wanted to add a bit of a tint for the windows. So the color is a bit gray.

This was the first 3D Model I have ever done. It is the head of a toy Robot. I chose the blue because of the source image.

These are two versions of the robot. One is a low polygon version and the other one is a more smoothed out High polygon version.
